Brian Donat is quickly gaining a reputation as the go-to cellist for concerts, shows and events of all kinds across the greater Adirondack/Capital region. He is a 2007 graduate of the Greatbach School of Music at Houghton College, and studied at the Meadowmount School of Music during the summer of 2012. He has performed abroad in Italy in 2007 and Australia in 2008. Currently, Brian teaches privately in Plattsburgh, Ticonderoga and Glens Falls and plays with the Orchestra of Northern NY, the Hubbard Hall Opera Theater and various chamber ensembles, including Cello Voce, a fabulous collaboration between cello and soprano voice. He is the winner of the 2014 WeddingWire Couples' Choice award for his wedding services as The Adirondack Cellist. When he's not playing the cello, he can usually be found playing outside, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, skiing, or cooking in his backyard brick oven. He lives in Ticonderoga, NY with his two four-legged children, Molly and Patrick, and wonderful wife, Jolene.
Holly McCormack's performances and studies have taken her to the midwest, east coast and Europe. She is praised for her warm, clear soprano voice an her ability to touch audiences by honestly conveying the human experience. Holly's musical credits include classical and musical theater. Holly has performed with Chicago Opera Theater, American Opera Group, L'opera Piccola, Cohoes Music Hall, Riedel Dance Theater in NYC, The Lake George Music Festival and Park Playhouse, Inc. to name a few. She was also a contracted soprano with the Chicago Symphony Chorus for three consecutive years. Holly received her B.M. in Voice Performance from SUNY Purchase and her M.M. in Voice Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. She has studied Broadway level acting with Tom Todoroff and VP Boyle in NYC and voice with Andrew M. Byrne. Holly currently resides in Latham, NY, happily sandwiched between NYC and the Adirondack mountains.
